Passport Expediter Needs – What You Need to Bring

If you need a passport for international travel in a short amount of time then you will need to be aware of the passport expediter needs that you will have to take care of. An application form will be needed along with the fees that are going to be needed from you. Proof of identification is necessary too. These are all going to be necessary when applying for a passport that you will need soon.

The first thing that you will need when applying for passport expediter service is that of proof of your American citizenship. A birth certificate or Social Security card will be especially useful for this. An expired passport can be used too. For those who have immigrated from another country to the United States a green card or other appropriate form of identification stating that you are a registered citizen in the country will be needed.

A proof of identification is also needed for passport expediter service. Something that has your picture will be needed. This includes a driver’s license or a student identification card. A military identification card or a governmental employee identification card can also be used if you have one that is active.

Passport photos are also needed. Every passport will need your photo in it. You can generally get the passport photos at a major store like Target or Wal-Mart. Walgreen’s also offer passport photo service. The photos should be up to date so that there will be no confusion over identification.

An application form for expedited passport service is also needed. When applying for a passport you will need to have the right form taken care of. You can easily take care of the form, which is the DS-11 form provided by the State Department, online. By going to http://travel.state.gov/passport/forms/ds11/ds11_842.html you will be able to get the form that you have to take care of and be able to print it so that you can send it to a place where you can apply for a passport. By visiting http://iafdb.travel.state.gov/ you can find a place in your area where this can be handled.

The fees that are needed will be the last of the passport expediter needs that you will have to take care of. Be aware that an additional sixty dollars will be charged to your standard passport application fees because of the expedited service. Depending on the group that you are going to be working with in applying for a passport and the time you need the passport in you will have a pay a different additional amount of money for the passport application. Of course, if you do this directly through the State Department you won’t need to worry about additional costs outside the additional sixty dollars for expedited service.

These are all of the passport expediter needs that you will need to have. Applying for a passport will be easy with all of these materials, and you can be easily prepared for the application process with all of these passport expediter needs.
